当然是but，多用口语中，不表示转折，相当于中文的“...就是,..”，还有其他的例子： I am terribly sorry, but I really forgot your birthday present.
用but，口语化的东西，经常这样说~

用but,习惯用法，读多了就明白意思了
用“and”，带出下面要问的问题。因为这里没有转折的意思，所以不能用“but”。 这句话如果改成： Excuse me. Can you tell me the way to the restaurant? 意思是完全一样的。
