However, there is a possibility it may also become a quest reward a la black bug mount for AQ40。 In other words。。。 we don't really know where the nether drakes actually come from。
In terms of people freaking out about the cost: you make a lot of money just from questing and killing mobs。 It's not impossible to conceive gaining over 5k gold by the time you get to 70。
