非谓语动词
Yesterday a street-beggar bought a lottery ticket purposelessy, to make him a millionaire overnight.不定式作结果状语应注意些什莫？前面要不要逗号？to do 与only to do 做结果状语有区别吗？
不一定要用逗号分开。only只是用来加强语气的。 再请看下面的例句： I opened the door to find the room empty. 我打开门，结果发现房间是空的。 I opened the door only to find the room empty. 我打开门，结果只是发现房间是空的。 I hurried to school, only to find it was a holiday. 我匆忙赶往学校，结果发现是假日。 What have I said to make you so excited? 我说了什么话使你这样激动？ He made a long speech only to show his ignorance of the subject. 他讲了一大段话，只暴露出他对这门学科一无所知。
